Here at Fairway our mission is to be a people that are Seeking and Growing Disciples and the next generation is no exception to the mission. We “seek and grow” children and youth through a healthy variety of ministries.
Nursery
We care deeply about our tiny humans. We offer a safe and secure environment where babies and toddlers (birth to 2-year-olds) can play during our service. Trained adults & youth will provide a safe, nurturing environment while you worship in the sanctuary. Visitors are always welcome, and inside the nursery is a quiet, private room for any moms who need to feed their little one!
Little Putters
Little Putters is a program offered during the worship service for 3-year-olds up to Kindergarten. Little Putters provides an opportunity for children to grow in a loving, caring environment while learning about God’s love for them. They learn Biblical concepts in creative ways that are slightly more structured than nursery, but still geared to their age.
Sunday School
During the sermon portion of our service, we have an opportunity for students in 1st-5th grade to learn about the Bible on their level. Our goal is to partner with parents in helping students discover who God is, what he has done for them, and how they can respond. We divide our students into three classes: Kindergarten and 1st graders, 2nd and 3rd graders, and 4th and 5th graders.
GEMS
GEMS is our Wednesday night activity for girls in 3rd-8th grade. The girls learn about God’s plan for their lives as they connect with other girls, create crafts, and have a great time. The GEMS group meets on the first 3 Wednesday nights of the month, starting in September through Spring Break.
Cadets
Cadets is our Wednesday night activity for boys in 3rd-8th grade. In Cadets, each grade is paired with counselors who help the boys deepen their connection to Christ through projects and skill-building. The boys are supervised and guided through some enjoyable projects, including pinewood derby cars, rockets, archery, properly building a fire (and cooking over it), and more! The Cadets group meets on the first 3 Wednesday nights of the month, starting in September through Spring Break.
